Cache installation and activation:

In the plugins settings, click "Enable caching" and "Configure server rules".

For Apache and Apache+Nginx web servers: after saving the settings, the configured rules will be displayed in the plugins settings and must be manually added at the very top of the .htaccess file located in the main directory of your website (module Mod_rewrite and .htaccess support must be enabled on the server). For Nginx web server: after saving the settings, the configured rules will be displayed in the plugins settings and must be manually added to the server configuration file. Instructions are available in the plugins settings. (Access to the server configuration file and the ability to restart the server after changes are required).

On other web servers: enable the "Connect cache via routing" option, but in this mode the cache will be loaded more slowly.

How to check functionality:

Visit any page of the "Shop" application as a non-logged-in user (preferably using a different browser). The page counter in the plugins settings should increase. This means that plugin is working.

To accurately measure the effectiveness of plugins, manually measure the page load time using the browser console, not using online speed testing websites, as they provide variable and inaccurate results with each request.

To manually measure page load time, visit a cached page as a non-logged-in user. Open the browser console, go to the "Network" tab, select the "Document"/"HTML" type, and the page name with loading data (type, size, speed, etc.) will appear in the console. Then clear and disable the cache, repeat the process, and compare the results.

After enabling and configuring plugins, visit the site from another browser and verify that the site works correctly (on both mobile and desktop devices).
