Why use Memcached?

Memcached is a lightweight, fast, and extremely efficient caching technology that significantly speeds up the operation of web applications. Thanks to it, data is stored temporarily in RAM, allowing for instant access without needing to query the database for every request.

Plugin "Memcached" helps configure the connection to the memcached caching server.

How does data caching work?

Caching is the process of saving the most frequently used data in temporary memory to enable faster retrieval in the future. Plugin Memcached stores the results of SQL queries, HTML code fragments, and other dynamic page elements.

There is no need to manually edit configuration files, and before saving, the PHP memcached extension and the correctness of the connection to the server are additionally checked. Specify any identifier in the "namespace" key to avoid conflicts when using multiple sites on the same server.

In the cloud, caching works by default and no additional settings or plugins are required, leave them as default:
