Widget is an element of the Web-systems.pro control panel that displays useful information in a small rectangular area. A user can add multiple instances of any widget to the admin panel and specify a different set of settings for each of them (the list of settings is provided by the widget).

Two types of widgets

A widget can be designed for a specific application (application widget) or not associated with any application (system widget).

All Web-systems.pro backend users can add system widgets to the control panel. Only users who have access to the application itself can access application widgets (in addition, each widget can check its own access rights in the application and display or hide the necessary information).
