What is plugin Advanced Services?

Quite often, add-ons and services are separate product items in the store itself or on a related website. In stores with many products, it is difficult, for example, to explain what gift box a customer will receive when ordering a particular item, and sometimes a gift card can be selected from an entire category.

In the current version of plugin "Advanced Services" will allow you to add information about the services and offerings of your store.
Using plugins, you can add a link to a service description page (generated automatically) or generally to a third-party page, a tooltip (with HTML support), or an image in a popup window (for example, a photo of packaging). This will reduce the workload on managers and make services more understandable for customers.

You can also enable selected services by default, which means they will be automatically selected, and the cost of the service will be added to the product cost. This allows services to be used as discounts (for example, selling a phone with accessories for 2000 - if the user does not need the accessories, they should uncheck this box).

Latest changes and updates:

• From version 0.0.9 - added the ability to "convert" a service into a category for services at the visual level. It helps organize services on the page for the customer if there are many of them.
• From version 0.0.7 - added the ability to mark services by default (similar to services with a negative value)
• From version 0.0.5 - it is possible to exclude services for selected categories, which means that services can now be configured more flexibly, even though they are tied to the product type.

It simplifies offer management, improves the user experience, and helps increase sales through better visibility of services. Thanks to systematic updates, plugin is becoming more functional and tailored to the needs of sellers and their customers.

Warning! Generated service description pages are not saved when plugin is disabled. Links to service descriptions are available not only on the product page. The link structure for a service is as follows: (website_URL/advservicedescription/id/, where ID is the service number in the database; in the plugins settings, next to the service name, we provide its ID).
