Sometimes there is a need to close "Blog", "Site", "Store", "Support" to users who have not registered and logged in to the site, or to grant access only to certain customer categories.
Using the plugins "Access to settlements" you can select an access level for each settlement: "Access is open", "Redirect to the authorization page from all pages of the settlement", "Redirect to a specific address", and for the Shopy-Script application settlement there is an option "Redirect from carta/checkout to the authorization page" (i.e., the visitor can browse the store, but after going to the carta or checkout page they will be redirected to the authorization page).
You can add exception words/addresses for unconditional access to certain pages.
Plugin "Access to settlements" is a functional extension of the "Team" application that allows you to manage access to individual sections of the site. With it, administrators can decide which areas of the site are publicly available and which require authorization.
Thanks to this plugin, you can assign different access modes for each settlement on the site. This allows, for example, to completely block access to the "Blog" for unauthenticated users or redirect them to the login page.
Administrators have the ability to set exceptions - pages or URLs that remain unconditionally accessible. This is an ideal solution, for example, for pages with privacy policies, contact forms, or help instructions.
Implementing this plugins significantly increases the security of the site, as it restricts access to key sections to authorized persons only. This is especially important for online stores and technical support systems.
Instead of errors or "403" pages, visitors are smoothly redirected to where they should be - for example, to the login page or another specified location. This improves UX and reduces the bounce rate.
If your site supports a closed community, such as a forum or a network of collaborators, "Access to settlements" will ensure proper filtering and protection of content from third parties.
The ability to set a redirect to a specific URL can also be used during marketing campaigns - for example, redirecting unauthenticated users to a newsletter signup page or a promotional landing page.
