QR code - plugin for Shopy-Script applications

Make your website more user-friendly for mobile device users. To do this, use the plugins "Qrcode".

A barcode or QR code (quick response) - a two-dimensional barcode developed and introduced by the Japanese company "Denso-Wave" in 1994.

What is a QR code?

It is an image with encrypted information. In principle, you can encrypt both an image and other types of data.

Plugin generates a QR code that contains a link to your website. Those users who visited your website from a mobile device can easily and quickly read the QR code and save the link to their favorite product on their phone.
Plugin allows you to place QR codes on the product card, on the category page, and also create a QR code with any text and place it anywhere on the page using the output helper:

Plugin does not use any third-party services to generate QR codes, so it works much faster than plugins. Plugin also uses caching, which also speeds up its operation.
In Settingsch, QR code size options are available.

Maximum number of characters that fit in one QR code:

• digits — 7089;
• digits and letters (Latin) - 4296;
• binary code — 2953 bytes (hence about 2953 Cyrillic letters encoded in windows-1251 or about 1450 Cyrillic letters in utf-8);
• hieroglyphs — 1817.
