Category images - plugin for the Shopy-Script app

Adding images to categories without limitations.

Plugin allows adding images for product categories and displaying them in a chosen location of the theme. Supports WEBP and SVG formats!

Plugin supports drag-and-drop functionality for adding images.

Displaying an image

To display a category image, add the helper to the appropriate place in the theme. The helper call passes the image URL.

{shopEwshopcimgHelper::getImage($category_id = int, $group = string, $size = string, $retina = boolean)}
  
Examples:
{$_image = shopEwshopcimgHelper::getImage($category["id"], "default", "64x64")} - this way you can display an image within a category loop
{$_image_2x = shopEwshopcimgHelper::getImage(3, "other", "200x0", true)} - this way you can display the @2x image of category with id = 3 from the "other" image group

Retrieving an array of images

The new parameter depth is not optional and defines the search depth for the category array.

{shopEwshopcimgHelper::getImages($categories = array, $group = string, $size = string, $depth = int)}
  
Request:
{$categories_images = shopEwshopcimgHelper::getImages($categories, "default", "120x120", 3)}

Result: flat array with key = category id, with search depth - 3 categories

Integration with theme is not included in the price of plugins!
